People really love that superhero sh*t. If they were smart they'd at least release this when there weren't other hero movies out

the actors physique doesn't match the suit at all. needs a more vascular neck and face.

also, Shazam in the 50's (live action serial) and in the 80's (hanna barbera cartoon) had better dynamics. the 50's show was sort of an alternate Man Of Steel, and the 80's cartoon was similar to Superfriends, but more refined, and little less action packed.

the issue with this film series is that they don't know who their target age demographic is. or they are just trying to create a new one, but superhero movie fans don't read comic books anymore. i was big into Shazam as an 80's kid, and these just come off as corny, trying too hard.

No excitement
Plot was catered to kids but had went full Saturday morning cartoon lane but Part 1 was only 50% that

No Black Adam who is the anti Shazam and also pushes Shazam as a character to frankly do more homework, research about more magic...

Learning that they both can use different magic spells and to also know that they weren't even close to cracking that egg

Add in the same dry a*s NBC The Shield, The Flash, Green Arrow, Legends of Tommorow, Hawk-Girl, Loki, MoonKnight writing that every single one of these shows use that has nothing at all to do with the comic versions.

Idk why but it's beating an already dead horse that's buried deep in the ground. It's time to switch it up and start using the lore much more.

Nah man this is not the Shazam I remember. Whenever trouble popped off...Billy Batson would turn into Shazam and save the day. He wasnt making jokes, he got right to the sh*ts.
