Refused to work on his game despite the complaints of everyone who is involved with the game. If any person is THAT hard headed and delusional when they’re “happy” and being coddled, it’s not shocking or surprising that if their mental health deteriorates they will fall off a cliff.

We all thought Ben just doesn’t care to take the proper steps to maximize his talent, when in reality he’s got mental health issues that just never got addressed that was the root of that. It went from “Ben we need you to shoot more” to “Ben are you up to playing tonight?”. I feel bad for him but he finally got to take the initiative to work out whatever he dealing with cause he’s a grown man.

T Mac & Dwight had back issues but still went on to play at a high level.

Simmons shell cracked in the Atlanta series before any of this talk about his back surfaced and on the floor he’s been this same guy since that series. He has no confidence going to the rim and he is terrified of going to the FT line. If the league didn’t make changes with the “Hack A _______” strategy from a few years ago he would’ve been targeted even more than he was this season.

A basic catch & shoot 3 anywhere on the floor whether top of the key or in the corner would’ve served him well. I’m not saying he needed to be Tatum and be a volume jump shooter like some of these dumb a*s fans, that’s not possible for him. But for people to have no reason to guard you and you’re a Guard is plain disgusting, it’s one thing if you miss it while wide open, it’s another to NEVER even attempt one and defenders know you won’t.
