He's a Pony but he wasn't too mad he just said Phil Spencer talks too much and speaks as a gamer and sometimes speaks as the head of xbox

The dumb ponies don't understand that the opportunity to play on 2 different consoles, any tablet, any phone and PC is more choices than just playing on a PS5

Why do you keep putting these two together in a versus when Xbox/MS is trying so hard to be a third party publisher, they are offering GP to PS and Nintendo?

Im not looking to have console war debate so if you not going to respond in good faith just don't respond. Taking the most popular 3rd party game on consoles and making it exclusive is not close to PS saying we don't want gamepass. COD on Ps has a 30+ million player base. Taking that away is anti consumer as hell. Thats the def of a monopoly just buying out the whole market since COD is the only FPS military game poppin.

But Microsoft offered Sony a deal to continue to have it. In fact they offered Nintendo a deal to have COD and they don't have the game on their platform.

I personally think 10 years is more than enough to develop a COD competitor. But the COD brand is too big at this point. sh*t AB is worth not too far from the whole Sony company let alone the playstation brand. The 2nd or 3rd biggest company in the world buying it should not be allowed if monopoly and anti consumer laws have any merit here. Given corp and xbox history why would Sony be confident they would get an equal product for the 10 years?

Because legal contracts would stipulate no parity clauses. And contracts can be renegotiated. Even so why would Microsoft need to be obligated after 10 years? Activision was on the hunt to look for a buyer and Microsoft pulled out their wallets. That's the nature of business. It sucks but it's fair.

I wouldn't say its fair. One of the biggest companies in the world buying major company after major company that have a dominating share of a market goes against a lot of monopoly and anti consumer laws. At some point the MSFT, Apple, Amazons need to be reeled in or those will be the only companies in the no so far future

MS is allowed to do what they want but allowing them to buy publishers just because is dangerous and is not competitive… It’s them buying them into a position of power and taking things away from consumers instead of adding anything of value to the gaming industry.
