They were truly together a lot. Rae's cousin Brian lived in my building (364 Sumpter st) in BK, and both he and ghost came through to see him. Well ghost stayed in the whip and I was leaving the building and Rae held the door for me and that's when I saw the drop top BMW...one of those joints with the paint that seemingly changed colors depending on amount of sunlight or w/e (back when that was popular). Looked purple at the time. Funny thing is I didn't even know it was them. Thought they were drug dealers because of the car and jewels, plus the 'big time' dealer around our way was this n*gga Nia and thought they came to see him. So told him thanks, and that was that...he hopped in the whip, ghost was in the passenger. I used to listen to them but at the time didn't know how they looked and it was a little before ob4cl came out. When I bought the sh*t, I was like ohhh sh*t, that's the n*gga from the building that day.


Fun fact, I played a lot of chess against Brian (who was probably in his early 30s at the time and I was like 15...never beat him once in like 20 tries, but he improved my game substantially at the time. Mystery of the chessboxin still one of my favorite songs and videos to this day.

How and why tf don't we have an official album from these 2 together? I'm trying to see that and a Nas and AZ joint album in my after life playlist as soon as I get to the pearly gates!

Finally got a chance to see the 2 of them in concert like a couple of years ago. sh*t was flames!!! You could tell they legit was having fun on stage. No one wanted the show to stop... legends

No sh*t but I said an OFFICIAL album. I was on that sh*t in real time brother. We used to post up on Guy Brewer and listen to it EVERYDAY when it came out. That album was the soundtrack to my coming of age as that was the time I started getting pu**y and money as a youngin'. But like I said I would like to see an official joint. Iron Man was kind of the same as it had Rae all over it. In fact my favorite song on that album is Faster Blade which is Rae by himself. So yeah I feel you but I want something in more depth with them two
