When we were kids (like 8 years old) we had a bias against hip hop that wasn't out of NY being that's where we grew up. n*gga this song was THE main example for us that all these other states were trash. Now we were kids and didn't know any better. Later on I started listening to everything from everywhere (especially southern hip hop) but back then that was the type of time we were on
