![]() tldw: desite a 12>10 disadvantage Sony has managed to not only negate, but surpass Xbox on a performance level.
- PS5 and Xbox Series X use dynamic resolution for performance mode. PS5's average resolution is slightly higher in this mode in the areas tested, although nothing remarkable (PS5: 1872p | XSX: 1836p). - Xbox Series S does not have Ray-Tracing. It is also not possible to enable enhanced hair. It also suffers from some cutbacks in texturing, LOD and shadows. - PS5 has a performance advantage over XSX, with an average of 5/10fps over. Those tools we were told about in 2020 must still be on the delivery truck that is stuck in traffic ![]() God bless |

This might be the last generation of Xbox. I bought a Series X before a PS5 because I thought I would get more out of it but I haven't touched the thing since Halo Infinite Season 1 dropped. That was a good 20 minutes but other than that I can count on my hands how much time I've spent with the thing.
