The BMW is vastly superior from fit and finish and the fact it’s made by a legacy car maker. However the Tesla super charger network gives you so much freedom to travel and much less of a headache compared to non Tesla EVs and their charging network it makes it a toss up. If you are just a 50-100 mile daily driver and can just charge at home then BMW. If you will drive much more and road trip etc i would go Tesla.

But...Tesla opened up their network to other non-tesla EV's recently.
That's the reason for my question....if Tesla opened their supercharging network then the playing field get even for other EV's.
I've heard bad things about Tesla build quality so I started looking to BMW, Porsche and, Mercedes.
All 3 can be charged at Tesla Charging Stations.
