The wild part is that earthquakes is the one natural disaster that affects humans only.

If we didn’t have a bunch of big a*s buildings everywhere nobody would be getting crushed/killed.

Especially in parts of the world where the building standards probably aren't as good. I mean if there's a big enough one that's not gonna matter anyway but if you have a bunch of buildings that's old or not built well in the first place they're gonna crumble and alot of people gonna die

esp in syria, because a lot of the buildings were already damaged by the war

Over 1400 people minimum already and thats gonna rise considerably if buildings are collapsing in on themselves, there has been another earthquake as well

It's most likely not done yet either there's usually a few aftershocks after aa big one too and probably some buildings foundations and sh*t are probably cracked and damaged but still haven't fell yet

I find it funny when people talk about they can’t live here in Florida because of the weather and hurricanes and sh*t but they live in places where earthquakes are a huge possibility like Cali and sh*t. fu*k that sh*t, at least I get a warning before a hurricane is coming my way, an earthquake like this sounds beyond terrifying
