You showed "clips" of plays from whole games. I remember that pro bowl with Sean Taylor vividly. Sean hit the punter for real... Ok cool. The rest of that game was everybody playing at 50% and not taking it seriously.

I’m not here to defend the Flag Pro Bowl, but we weren’t getting “an actual football game” before either. They stopped playing football (to protect the players) years ago. You can’t hit anyone, you l can’t blitz and when I saw the quarterback take the snap and both lines just stood there talking to each other, I thought, “oh…so we’re not even faking a pass rush anymore? They might as well play flag football”.

There’s no point in playing a “straight up”‘football game—unless your goal is to get someone hurt. You’ve already got most of the big names bowing out. No one’s putting their $20 million salary at risk for an exhibition game.
