Nah lol it works GREAT for some people who can get some experience, and got to retire Young… it’s a great set up if everything goes right!

I just say what I said from the perspective of having friends who can’t walk/play with their kids cause they went to Afghanistan, have trouble breathing va don’t do nothing.. etc feel me?

I went to a high school where we didn’t have sh*t.. 30% + dropped out… less than 1% went to college…

but what they DID have was a magnet ROTC program… meaning none of our basic needs were met… but If you want to die on a sand dune for uncle Sam or mindlessly take out Dwight’s/corporations opps.. they can help… I felt that was evil.. school to prison/army pipeline ..it felt like they intentionally keep our education poor so that they could feed us to their machine.

There’s been a lot of misuse of minority troops (I’m sure u know better than me first hand) but from the civil war on, Tuskegee… Vietnam they had a program called “Project 100,000” (now declassified) where the aim was to sign up 100,000 minority troops to basically be cannon fodder

I’m not knocking the service PEOPLE at all…

More-so the military institutions that take advantage of poor people minorities etc. that I take issue with.

But salute to you and the soldiers in general tho

The books in our schools were literally falling apart. I remember one day specifically that a few pages in one of my books had been torn out for some reason and the teacher told me to share with another student which was cool back then.

However, as I got older I looked back at that same situation like "Why didn't he just give me another book with the correct pages and just "trash" that one?"



I never told anyone this on here, but it was a HUGE reason that I joined the Air Force and it wasn't by choice at all I'll leave it at that.

I think the military does pipeline all YOUNG minorities FOR SURE! And most of the recruitment offices are either in poor areas of the city or close to where I'm from so that right there tells you want it is.

No lie it was one right near a Family Dollar store a few years back here real sh*t. It has moved now, but I knew what it was there for.

I'll leave it at this, joining the military saved my damn life for sure!

When I see you in April (hopefully we can link lol) I'll tell you all about that sh*t bro, it's definitely some sh*t that I'm not proud of.

At the end of the day though I'm away from that life, and I don't have anyone in my circle in that life anymore.

I have a beautiful successful wife, and a smart handsome young son.

I agree college isn’t for everyone. A lot of the youth (especially in gangs) would be so much better served in joining the military. They literally put their lives on the line for free against other people in the community.

Joining the military did wonders for me and I wasn’t even much of a bad kid. Some of my peers threw it all away while I was gone (dead or in jail)

There’s also people who come from that environment and end up catching military cases because they aren’t ready for that structure or culture. Signed up to get locked up. If you had focus and maturity discipline that’s good but a lot of kids are set up for failure
