Drill sergeant finally revealed to me that I wasn't going all the way down, so he wasn't counting them. Because I had longer arms, I had to go down farther than the short arm dudes.

I’ve been doing pull ups and push ups consistently since I was about 14. Even when I take time off from the gym I keep up with the basics. Keep a jump rope. A real pull up bar ( the one you’ve gotta drill holes in the wall for) and stay doing different variations of push ups. That sh*t never fails. I’m 42 now but my back straight, hips, knees and joints gucci. I don’t have a 6pack anymore but my 4 pack on point, stay active btoskis

swim laps for a couple months and you'll feel 20 years younger. It's strength training, cardio, and yoga combined into one. Zero stress on the joints too, because you're floating in water.

I remember seeing alot of this doing/during PT tests in a the mil. U had to complete a certain number by a certain time one. Sit-ups same way. Many don’t pass this part of the test and it’s FIRST. Great times! Lol
