America isn’t going to let soldiers go live and express themselves.

America is a mofo…we’re either in a war or funding war. Doesn’t matter who’s President. We bring troops back….but send money to other countries to keep f*ghts going. It’s insane.

Americans love supporting wars but we not gonna know how bad being in a real war is until China or somebody comes out here and does us like we be doing everybody else. Americans still crying about 9/11 like that sh*t happened last week, we ain't ready for an actual war.

Some people always seem excited by the thought of going to war knowing good and well they will just be watching it on the news from the safety of their couch.

Actually it's out of respect, we call it going dark. Out of respect for the family and the soldier that died, all information going out is stopped and no one is able to comment on the death, until family is notified and burial and everything is arranged and taken care of.

I mean, who is ready for war? What makes other countries more prepared compared to the U.S.? China’s last war was in the late 70s/early 80s with Vietnam and they got decimated so bad that it’s not in their history books. Vietnam had less soldiers and equipment after dealing with us and they still mopped the Chinese.

I’m no super patriot and I’ve even served. But no one can really go at it with us unless nuclear war is involved. Our logistics is on point, relatively speaking, we have a sizable lower class, equipment, past lessons to learn from, manufacturing, etc. The only thing that can stop USA, is the USA itself. Just like Rome, we are our biggest enemy.

I mean putting all that aside just off the top of my head China has to cross the pacific to bomb or hope to gain a foothold anywhere in the well defended coast so the supply line will be stretched mighty thin for an outclassed Navy to try to maintain. While the US has military bases all over the world and allies on that side of the world so our supply lines will be straight and easier access to bomb China. But with that said I don't think we'll ever go to war it'll just be wolfin' back and forth f*ghting proxy and economic war against each other until 1 super power folds

Yup, war ain’t a joke. Neither are both these countries blatant racism. Absolutely no sympathy coming from me.

As an ex-soldier, war should be banned across the world. The most civilized nation is the most peaceful and progressive. War is satanic.

That's the problem tho. If we had direct war with Russia or China I don't think they have much of a chance in just a straight up f*ght but everyone's got nukes. I can't see either of them letting themselves just lose.
If it comes down to a situation like Hitler in the bunker or Sadam hiding in his whole they're definitely letting the nukes off you'd just hope at that point maybe the soldiers responsible for actually launching the sh*t would ignore their orders but I doubt it
