We all know this the GOAT TV show, but wanted to send some flowers to Season 4.

Season 3 is tough too.. but Season 4 is just something else.

It has this gritty feel to it compared to the other seasons. I don't know if its the camera shots or the writing, but it's so dark and real as fu*k.

The theme with the kids and terrible school system is so important.

So many classic scenes:

-Michael refusing Marlo's free cash and stepping up to him and gaining his respect.

-Omar robbing Marlo in the card room.

-Lester discovering the vacants with Bunk.

TV at it's finest!

I always say season 3 was better than 4 as well, but if you have season four over three, I won't argue it.

Breaking bad season 4 was gd but it wasn’t better than the wire.

For me the wire season for was such an accurate depiction of school and life in the hood that I’ve never seen on television that sh*t was real.

Like breaking bad season 4 that was a good tv show but that could never be life

I agree with you on The Shield. That is easily in my top five shows ever.

Deadwood was a great show too but I’m not picking any of those seasons above The Wire seasons 3 or 4.

Damn yall dont get tired of regurgitating the same talking points about this damn show. How many times do we need to hear how great it was, sh*t came out 2008. We all get it the show was great. STOP!!!!

To me season 3 is better to us older members because we wasn't expecting a Jr high school theme brought to the show. Still a good season though. But seeing the kids in school was just not for me. So I always fast forwarded the school parts.

It was a great show. But let’s be real. Y’all only like the n*gga parts. The drug dealing parts.

The wire was an amazing show. Season 5 was horrible and should be burned.

Season 2 is the glue. Don’t know why everyone hates it.

The wire is goat. fu*k the shield and any other show that was mentioned with the exception of Breaking Bad.

The wire was an organizational chart of Baltimore that could be studied and applied to any city in America.
