Hey man people hate on Kyrie because he's the employee everybody wants to be but don't have the balls to be or the skills to make these kinds of demands. Steve Jobs was like Kyrie. n*ggas showed up to Atari barefoot and were so bold, instead of firing him he got away with it for months until his feet started stinking, and then and only then did they ask, not tell but ask him to rock shoes.
Kyrie is just like MANY white men in the business world, only, since he's a Black man or a "brown" man, no they get mad because he has no loyalty to the organization or company and is more focused on using his leverage than he still has to make himself comfortable.
It's a different era. Players put their roots down in these cities all the time, build a life, meet great people enjoy the vibes and then you find out after believing in the owners and GM's that your a*s got traded. It's the same way, you get hired, enjoy the company, the benefits, the workplace culture and then something happens and you end up getting fired! It's all BS.
So, fu*k Kendrick Perkins. If you are not a member of the Nets organization stop having so much care about what these hundred-million-dollar athletes got going on.
It's a business! If Kendrick was as talented and skilled and good at his job as Kyrie was at his he would have taken the same kind of liberty. KD just took the torch from Bron and ran with it in terms of not having loyalty to a club and doing whatever it takes to make sure he's in a winning situation and KYrie got the blueprint from KD.
His friendship with KD doesn't have to have anything to do with his business. It's a business not never personal. I'm a Bulls fan but if they went 0-82 next year, I wouldn't give fu*k, them n*ggas don't pay me! LOL So, I took my emotions out of sports along time ago because I have my own life, and career and everybody would love to be able to go to work and tell their boss what they are and are not going to do regardless! LOL
At the end of the day, Kyrie mastered his craft, won a ring, will retire with over $100 M in his account and is going to the Hall-of-Fame even though he was shafted out of being on the top 75 players list over Dame.
Kyrie won, I like winners, I'm a winner, I'm not mad at him, it's just sports, it's a game but real life isn't a game.
