Juelz Santana Finally Gets His Teeth Fixed: 'Watch Ya Mouth Not Mines'

"Juelz Santana has finally got a new set of teeth after years of facing criticism over what happened to his pearly whites over the years.

On Thursday (February 2), the Dipset rapper took to Instagram to share a video of himself visiting a cosmetic dentist, where he got his upper row of teeth fixed. Fans could see Juelz going through the procedure with Dr. Daniel Rubinshtein before showing off his fresh new set of teeth at the dental office and again in his car.

“Watch Ya Mouth Not Mines Got Me Right @dr_rubinshtein GETTING Ready 4 The Win… #ICFMF #WeInMotion #BackOutside,” Juelz wrote.

Rumors about what happened to Juelz Santana’s teeth have been circulating for years, especially after the music video for “Sauce Boyz” surfaced in 2018. In that video, Juelz appeared to be missing teeth which caused a whirlwind of jokes on social media.

The jokes got to the point that even 50 Cent had some fun with the situation by posting a since-deleted meme showing himself searching “What happened to Juelz Santana teeth?” on Google.

Juelz put an end to the intrigue on the season nine premiere of Love and Hip Hop: New York, admitting prolonged drug use was the reason behind his teeth falling out.

He didn’t specifically say which drug he abused; however, fans speculated that it was methamphetamines which affect the teeth and gums more than any other hard drugs. Regardless, Juelz has powered through the criticism and found himself back in the spotlight following a rough few years.

One of the things he’s back in full motion with is his music. In April 2022, he appeared on fellow Diplomat Jim Jones’ “We Set the Trends (Remix)” alongside Lil Wayne, Migos and DJ Khaled before dropping a new song with Benny The Butcher in August after being challenged to release new music by Funk Flex.

He kept the ball rolling in December with the announcement that he’ll be dropping a Gangsta Grillz mixtape with DJ Drama sometime in 2023, marking his official return to the Hip Hop scene. Juelz Santana first previewed the project on Christmas Day 2022 with a post revealing the new album title with an image showing his and Drama’s names along with the tagline: “Top Of The Year.”

Juelz Santana’s last project was March 2020’s #FREESANTANA, which was released while he was serving time at the FCI Petersburg Medium in Hopewell, Virginia. The 10-track album features Jim Jones, Dave East, 2 Chainz, Belly, Lil Wayne, Jeremih and A Boogie wit da Hoodie."
