Back 4 Blood, Rumbleverse and Knockout City are all shutting down

Knockout City was a great game, I played it a ton

There are only so many hours and so much money to go around for all these live service games

Back 4 Blood isn't shutting down, it's just not receiving any more content after the 3~ expansions it's already had.

GAAS games are ok as long as they have enough content. Replaying the same 3-4 levels with different difficulties is trash. Anthem was amazing and Avengers was a cool game and would've done better if it had at least doubled its content.

The things is these GAAS games are designed to be time sinks. Only so many of them can survive because people not gonna be able to play or even get meaningful progression in maybe 3 at a time?

You put out one of these and they don't hit on let's say a Warframe level, good luck

Yeah, they tend to ask for all your time and progression be bullsh*t. Too many unnatural sh*t happens. I just tend to stay away from them. They're not dead but when they announce a new gaas game, I have one strike against that game automatically off tops.

Knockout City was amazing

Had to force myself to complete back4blood something about it just doesn't feel right to me
