I always squated in a squat rack unless I was doing 135 lbs. on some warm-up business. You can drop the bar on the safety bars if you go to failure.




Now, I don't barbell squat anymore on account of getting spinal fusion surgery....

I do leg press machine workouts to keep my leg muscles somewhat muscular, but with hip replacement surguries, I'm not pushing beyond 200 lbs. .
