Wrong
I grew up around some the biggest djs in Baltimore club that started it.
If anything... it started as the hood version of house music..that incorporated elements from ALL genres of music. Miami bass played no bigger part than a james brown or michael jackson record they sampled.
And its only real link to house music was a drum break from a 70s Lyn Collins record they used to sample .. from a house song that sampled it.. if they didn't have the original lyn collins record. (That's actually used in doo doo brown)
But u believe what u want.. n I'll stick wit what I know .. n was told.. directly from the mouths of the djs that actually played a part in creating it in the 90s... n made a living off djing at clubs.. n sellin records out the stores.
And it's plenty of articles n videos that document the history of Baltimore Club that say the same exact sh*t I'm sayin..
so I aint goin back n forth about it.
