The executive branch doesn’t pass the bill, Congress does.

If Biden vetos Congress, they can override his veto by passing the bill again in each chamber with at least two-thirds of each body voting in favor.

Calling it "The Pelosi act" just goes to show Hawley is not serious about banning it, he is caught up in the partisan hack theatrics

They're brilliant at marketing. As bad as Pelosi is with the insider trading, she's not even the biggest offender within the DC political scene. But they're shrewd enough to know how politically effective it is to make her the face of insider trading. It's especially easy to pull off this sort of grandstanding when your base isn't going to fact check it.

I deleted IG but I still follow QuiverQuant. Used it to see what potential trades I should be looking at. Trying to follow the trends or bigger moves of Congress and executive purchases and sell offs
