Not knowing how to order food at a Jamaican restaurant can't cost you the meal |

Rice. Period. Haitians make the best rice of any culture. That's an art. When it's basically all the food the majority of the country relies on for a meal, you best believe they are going to master it. Anybody can make oxtail, curry goat, chicken etc., You need to start at the core, and that's rice. Nobody does it better

No sh*t anyone can make oxtails, etc...it's fu*king cooking ![]() U acting like rice and peas ain't the sh*t, when done with the right coconut flavor...or jolaf rice or w/e it's called with Africans...Lol@ acting like y'all the only Black nation who depends on mostly rice-based dishes. Our allegiances to our own country aside, there's a reason Jamaican food is more popular than Haitian food around the whole world...there's not more of us, relatively...the demand is there for a gotdamn reason.

But either way, your argument is based on opinion. Mine is based on fact. So carry on

What I will say though is THE best rice I've ever eaten in 45 years (where I live is a centre for South Asian people and their cookery, and England isn't short on Chinese restaurants either, plus I've had home cooked Indian/Pakistani food that sh*ts all over - bad choice of words there I know - 90% of what you get in an Indian restaurant) was cooked by a Jamaican If Haitians cook rice better than that, they need to move to England and open restaurants...

And speaking of facts, Haiti's GDP is higher than Jamaica's...n*gga said richer people as if Jamaicans are rich like that...or if any of that fu*king matters in terms of taste of food...u can tell a n*gga who doesn't really cook himself...And 90% of Jamaicans I know send back money for people home...earthquake or not...Brooklyn is in no short supply of Haitians...even have a section called little Haiti and there's no little Jamaica in BK (even though we're plentiful here as well)...u don't understand supply and demand...they're opening up stores because there's a demand for the food, silly a*s. And they use their ability to cook to escape poverty and for upward mobility. Last edited by Bklynzfinest; 01-25-2023 at 09:19 AM..
