Tracey Lee might be wrong about that. It says this was recorded in Dc 96', but Big was doing verses out in LA in 97' for Puff's album.

I'm such a hov stan I can tell u that picture is photoshopped . 96 jay-z wore Mafiaso style gear and Versace and all that 97 Jay had the earring and starting wearing street denim. The pic look like Jay was photo shopped out of the in my lifetime vol 1 booklet or possibly 1998 vol 2.
