I also wouldn't be surprised that after spiderman 2 comes out, pc gets God of war ragnarok. And when wolverine comes out, pc gets spiderman 2

2025 is further out that I expected, but Sony keeps us fed year round so I'm more than certain they got some more AAA games in the pipeline before then

You started off smart until you forgot about Elden Ring and then somehow predicting Spiderman GOTY in a year with Zelda, Starfield and more. The first Spider-Man didn't even win a single GOTY from even the smallest of outlets.

From a Sony standpoint , they aren't about to crowd each other. They aren't going to stack their titles for a contender at goty. With gow becoming the fast selling first party title, it will take the awards on the 8th. Screenshot this post.

at that point they will be right around the corner from releasing the "next" generation of consoles.....

Spiderman will be great. That doesn't mean it will be GOTY material. Insomniac always releases bangers, but they've taken one total GOTY award from any outlet in their existence, Rift Apart from an outlet called Hardcore Gamer. Nothing wrong with being top 5/top 10 in any given year.

BGS and Nintendo have countless GOTY awards under their belts. They'll be tough to topple, along with whatever dark horses show up.
