They couldn't announce anything coz they had nothing... Now they're about to drop games from their own studios now they suddenly feel it's worth $70

All that "best deal in gaming" sh*t will go up next year... They're taking too many losses on console sales and software... Mfs aren't even buying 3rd party games on Xbox anymore so Microsoft is not making that 30% on software sales... They expected to have at least 40million subscribers by now the the computers is not putin

I fully expect a price increase for gamepass to follow soon

Those $1 deals were just to fluff subscriber numbers. Now the real Microsoft is about to show up when they have actual games to release

- so they started the gen off by saying their first party games were gonna stay at $60

- proceeded to release only 2 games in 3 years

- then right before 2023, the year where they finally plan to release multiple first party games, they announce a price hike on games and potential hike on the console and GP

Yo the only games I have right now are

Portal 2 (2011)

Dead rising 3 (2013)

Seikro (2019)

Basically I’m playing old games, Seikro is the youngest. I got it for $30 and it’s the full GOTY or whatever version with everything in it. A lot of games ain’t worth it, patches after patches, May as well wait a year or two before buying. I do want Elder Scrolls (which is almost 1 years old) and the new street f*ghter 6 whenever it comes out.

This year from January until now I have played old games and some stuff from gamepass.

Yeah, this is much worse then when Sony made the announcement. Xbox doesnt have games with featues that werent available last gen, so what are they charging an extra 10.00$ for exactly? 60fps and a res bump? Bethesda games dont have any damn complexity. Terrible excuse. I cant even motivate myself to finish Ghost Wire Tokyo.

Hellblade was 20.00 and properly priced as an Indie game. Now Microsoft wants that franchise to be priced as a AAA exclusive? You cant make this shyt up.
