Thats a Toronto sound period plenty of artist in T.O have that OVO/XO sound and they are signed to OVO so it makes sense

People are never fans of greatness unless the greatness is marketed for exploitation of regular people. Allow me to elaborate, people call Jordan the goat why? Is it because he owns ever statistical category in Basketball, no because he doesnt. Is it because he has the most titles no because he doesnt. Did he revolutionize the game? No he didnt. People see him as the goat because he was on every damn commercial in the nineties and because Nike made his own brand (which Magic was really who they wanted) The Weeknds music is just as global as MJ only reason hes not as highly considered is because he is not marketed to Black America. I remember putting weeknds albums on at party and people being like turn on Sam Smith which is just dumb but anyway Abel is creative and supremely talented . Im ready to see his HBO show
