Unless you think your kid gonna be 6'5+ don't even dream of the NBA lol. I think average NBA height been going up too. My son playing baseball/soccer.

My Son is 8 months and I’m already saving for his tuition but i would rather him get a full scholarship at best (academic or athletic) that way our money can pay for grad school and he graduates completely debt free. Pro sports wave is way too inflated, unrealistic and overrated

There’s 5’3 kids out there getting full scholarships to play D1 baseball if you can hit a breaking ball you can go a long way

I used to coach youth sports and the dad's be so delusional it's hilarious..

I'm 6'2" and really athletic. Long jumped over 21 feet.. Ran a 14.5 110 High Hurdles.. 43 foot triple jump..

But the kids dad's would come up to me like so where did you play ball at.. I know you went D1.. and be dead serious.. I told one dad straight up.. I'm only tall to people who don't play sports. Dose of reality hit him pretty hard as he was only 5'10 or so.. but it probably saved his son years of torment. Like dude just have fun. Only 1% of the kids out here will even make their freshman team, let alone college..

I knew I wasn't going to the Olympics when I was 17. Loved running track have a ton of medals and trophies.. But if I'm not getting a full ride and I'm not going pro.. why destroy my knees to prove I'm fast when I've already proved it..

As A 6'4 Combo Guard I Went To 5 Star Basketball Camp With Tim Thomas & Ron Artest. There's 500 Kids Between 5'7 & 7foot Every Week. I Never Seen 150 People 6'8 & Taller In My Life. There's Millions Of Giants Out There. But Like Tim Hardaway Said. "I Got Skills"! My Wife 5'7 & I'm Just Trying To Educate My Children.

Yeah basketball is much more abnormal in that you pretty much have to be tall as fu*k to have a chance. Every other sport you just need to be taller than average and you’re straight.
