A lot of MID dropped this year. I mean a lot of projects have very little replay value. Future, Lil Baby, Da Baby, Pusha T.

hands down these 4 are the best albums of the year and wouldn't be mad if anyone says they are.

- Takeoff dying, Thug and YSL going down really might be the end of Atlanta's run

sh*t fu*king sucks man Take was a good dude.

- Memphis and Michigan sound are taking over.

- Glorilla is the best thing to happen for Female rap in years. she even got n*ggas bumping her sh*t. the people are actually fu*king her. she sold more than Coi Leray and Saweetie

- Yeat got song of the year (a- a - all we do is go number 1)

- Jack Harlow is done failed industry plant

- Youngboy is the Tupac of this generation. That n*gga got the youth eating out his palms. and is against all odds in the industry with these other rappers. Just like Pac.

Drake had 2 projects that I ain’t really listen to

Most of the time I’m listening to R&B music, soulection, or some real old R&B stuff from the 90s when I was under the age of 10.

Music comes and goes so quick, and it is really good. Yet forgettable because another artist drops with their great project week after week. You only going to consume but so much until you are like.

A - fu*k it, I’m only listening because everyone else is

B - fu*k it, this ain’t really my sh*t

C - fu*k it, I only heard it once just to keep up with others in a conversation and they barely listen to it

D - fu*k it, yo I’m going back to the other albums

E - fu*k it, there is so much stuff out and I still ain’t fully enjoy these other albums that just came out

This year was weird. When I get in the whip I don't really know what music to play if something didn't just drop. I listened to mostly podcasts this year NGL except on the way to work at night. No hot takes for me. I have no favorite songs that I'll listen to in mainstream hip hop this year.

Music was straight to me. Beginning of the year everybody had a different sound. Theres a lot of sh*t that dropped that was interesting and a solid listen. I listen to my sh*t in various shuffle plays. The thing about this year was people getting k*lled and kanye not shutting the fu*k up.

The old dudes rap is here to stay

Finesse came home and dropped a banger

Ramona park broke my heart should of got a Grammy
Blxst really going to be a superstar
I don’t know no Spanish but I like the Bad Bunny movement
Larry June at some point really will crack the mainstream
Nas can’t miss with Hit Boy
Joey Badass and Dave East like the few really holding down NYC
KalanFrFr could potentially hit mainstream if he could replicate a song like Light Breeze
Quiet as kept, West Coast k*lling it with rap and R&B
Afrobeats is way more lit/better than mainstream rap for the most part
Rap will be in a really bad place if dudes don’t switch up from highlighting junkie crash test dummy indictment music the way they do

Ransom, Boldy, Rome Streetz & 38 Spesh dropped nothing but fire this year.
Joey Badass and Mayhem Lauren both their projects are underrated.
