This dude really made a thread just for this just to try to say he's right. Any heat source added to food burns nutrients. That's why they put food and beverages like milk in non clear packaging because even sun light and the light bulb in the fridge will slowly burn away nutrients.
Here's the funny thing though and why OP is an idiot: scientists have done research and have proven that microwaves are the best way to retain nutrients when heating up food because the food spends less time under heat.
microwave cooking is actually one of the least likely forms of cooking to damage nutrients. That's because the longer food cooks, the more nutrients tend to break down, and microwave cooking takes less time.

There’s nothing about microwaves that damages food more than other cooking methods. In fact, microwaving can actually preserve nutrients.
|
Microwave ovens usually don’t destroy nutrients in food. And in some cases, preparing food in a microwave might actually promote nutrient retention.

I can go on and on with actual scientific studies from reputable sources rather than some mop headed incel trying to sound smart.
So, with that said, are you sure you want to continue this lie?
