Basically you want the most representative sample of the country as early as possible. Because it gives you the best idea of how your candidate will fare in the general.

Iowa is way to white And college educated. You need a larger sample otherwise you wind up with Biden and Hillary

I don’t mention that n*gga daily go through my post. It’s relevant to the topic, voters put all their beliefs aside for one cause and the cause got exploited. It’s why they want him back so badly, anything is justified to prevent him and voters support that.

Incorrect, progressives perform better with lower income individuals who have less formal education than moderates do. They tend to perform better across non-white groups as well. Higher income, white, and college educated individuals tend to vote moderate.

However southern conservativism is a mainstay so the southern states will always be more inclined to vote for a moderate even with these factors at play. At least for the near future. However the fact that progressivism is leas likely to be viewed as synonymous with socialism may change that.

Regardless, as a pragmatic progressive I know that the country generally prefers moderates. I don’t want to skew the elections one way or the other, I want the American people to choose their leaders without shenanigans. Even if they choose somebody I disagree with.

Moving the early primaries from Iowa to a more diverse and representative state like Nevada and SC will help progressives in later primaries because the DNC will not be forced to go all-in on a candidate that was chosen without much input from non-white/working class voters.

Not to mention changing the primary to an election as opposed to a caucus makes it that much more representative.

And that confederate flag on the capitol was a symbol of anti Black sentiment. They didn't have people of color in mind.

Right. I enjoy hearing viewpoints from all over the spectrum (even if I don't agree) as long as they're speaking from an informed place.
