The story is set in the near future of the DC Universe. The new generation of heroes have lost their moral compass, becoming as reckless and violent as the villains they f*ght. The previous regime of heroes—the Justice League—returns under dire circumstances, which sets up a battle of the old guard against these uncompromising protectors in a conflict that will define what heroism truly is and determine the future of the planet.

I'm not familiar with it, but a quick search basically breaks it down as an anti-hero takes it upon himself to avenge Lois' death by k*lling Joker, after Joker murders her. Superman being the boy scout opts to bring in the anti-hero to stand trial & he's found innocent. From here Superman retires and goes into isolation, and the heroes split between "good" heroes and anti-heroes (killing villains).

Just saw the suicide squad he did and am almost done with the peace maker show. I'm with it.

Long story short it's about new generation of wild and crazy heroes vs the old generation heroes.

My dad bought this graphic novel for me when I was a kid and I still have it till this day.
What's ironic about this novel for me is I feel it mirrors this modern world we're living and the way it ends is exactly how I feel World War 3 will dramatically begin and tragically end.

A story of the fragility of humanity and the power of morality.

Superman is a oscar level character if you give a fu*k. Kingdom come is an example of that.

Was never really a Jay Z fan until I saw that album was coming out. Read Kingdom Come and instantly knew what it was about

im team dc solely because i’m a batman stan but i’m glad they finally got someone decent running their sh*t. i just hope it’s not all comedy even tho gunn’s sh*t is cool, too much of it is overkill. i don’t want every dc movie to be like peacemaker or his suicide squad

He’s also Flash Gordon, Spider-Man, and Bruce Wayne. In the song he’s the hero coming (more specifically returning) to save the day (Hip Hop).
