Really propelled his comeback and eventual signing to Taylor Gang, and arguably the most instrumental part of cementing Triple 6 Legacy among the youth of today.

A lot of young people I met repping the phonk and OG Memphis sound heard him through those tapes originally.

I remember eeeing the timer for this on livemixtapes and caught it as soon as it released and was surprised only because at that point I thought 36 was trash (I’m up on everything they now they legends to me)

first of all codeine cups wasnt on blue dream and lean it was on his album stay trippy.

ive been revisiting this era heavy lately. juicy and paul were at an all time low career wise. sony had shelved the laws of power album, they had been runing around hollywood for like 3-4 years milking every last drop out of that oscar, doing famous foods with d-tier celebrities, it wasnt looking good.

thats when juicy went back to memphis with pat and got some new artists to work with, v-slash, lil reno, yoyo munie and them

to me the hustle till i die album, the 2 cut throat mixtapes and the cut throat album is the best juicy era ever. he was still handling the production and all that music was pure flames. its was like early 3-6 all over again

ultimatly its his work with lex luger that would breathe a second (or third by then?) life into his carreer and send him to a new height (errday with whiz, who da neighbours, zip and a double cup, juicy j cant, smoking and sipping ect...)

and finally bands a make her dance with mike will and he was out of here

but these are the true classics i keep going back too
