The game wasn't flooded with it and the mainstream was much more balanced. You could hear ATCQ get played the same hour as Too Short back in 93/94

Whole lotta money lost on artists that can’t generate profit.

Gangsta era
Party era
Snap era
Crunk era
Trap era

Now we In the drill era…. I really don’t know what’s next. Especially since the listeners are only getting younger. The less and less they will want to hear substance
