As a kid on my birthday pops told me to go up stairs and clean my room before we rode out to the Bronx and pick up my gift. I got up there and there was a rectangular buldge under my covers. Pops copped me the Super Nintendo as soon as it came out. I wanna say ultra man this and pilot wings were like the first games I got. Good times man. Rest in Peace Pops! Appreciate ya folk while they're still here BX!

Thanks homie. Hell yeah we do. One of her favorite games of all time is Overwatch so she ropes me into that. She sat with me as I ran through God of War Ragnarok and I'll sit and watch her play horror games. We have a squad of us that plays together including her sister, her sister's husband who's my best friend, and some our best friends growing up. Our group uses video games as a way to stay in touch and be together since a few of us moved away from RI. Our drunken game nights be the lives too. Just a bunch of drunk adults acting a fool.

This is beautiful.
Reminds me of the movie tag which ironically was funny because it's a true story.

My family and I also play this "last tag" thing for decades. So to see that movie was ill.

This might be my most timeless classic. I don’t think I’ve ever loaded this game up and didnt have the same fun every single time. Glad I got to grow up with games and live in the goat era. I’ve played this game in almost 3 different decades. Crazy…

Same. I was like 4/5 and could’t grasp the concept of running forward and jumping at same time. Pops ended up getting stressed at me not being able to make over one of first obstacles and gave the console to some family down the street.

Got a Megadrive the year later I believe with Sonic 2 I think. Didn’t end up playing and completing SMB3 and SMW until I was in my teens and emulators came out.

Always will be the original Kings of gaming. But why does this chip shortage sound so familiar in our modern times.

SNES is the goat system.

I had moved to Japan in 1989, and me and a bunch of kids were sneaking off base in 1990 to go and look at the super nes…it was amazing.

I remember my friend got it and I always tried to stay at his house overnight, we would play that sh*t all night.
