Fam I've had the butterball one for four years now. Never had an issue like these idiots. I use it for seafood boils too.

I just cut that bird up like a chicken and fried it pieces by piece.. that brine had it tasting like a Kentucky fried turkey... best turkey ive ever had in my life...

Definitely won't be frozen if you cut it up then brine it... its the ice that make your sh*t explode .. people don't thaw out there sh*t for long enough. It can take 24 hours.

I watched a video some time back where they instruct you on how to get the best boil, so this doesn't happen. Also, they used a certain tool, so no one has to be right by the pot.

A lot of unseasoned people in that video… makes sense. Fire department's literal only calls for the most part are folks trying to fry a full-blown frozen bird on thanksgiving or day before smh

Seems some of those people have trouble understanding that the volume of the turkey causes the level of the oil to rise so if you have too much oil then you get an overflow

Lol too much oil for one and why would you try to fry it frozen knowing what happens when that ice hits the water

thawed turkey is vital but even more important is turning the fire off when you are lowering the turkey into the oil. that way spilled oil doesn't turn into a fire bomb

What idiot fried a turkey indoors. I know he was a D plus student in highschool.

It's simple. Brine, season, go outside, fill about 1/2 way with oil, turn off the burner, lower slowly, turn fire back on, have a beer, done
