![]() ![]() "Psychology professor Russell Hurlburt estimates 30 to 50 percent of people have an inner monologue narrating their thoughts throughout the day. But if you don’t have one, Hurlburt, who teaches at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, says not to worry." sh*t is crazy. I remember when I was young I could have whole a*s television episodes and movies playing in my head and now I realize some of these NPC a*s n*ggas can’t even conjure a fu*king Apple when they think smh |

Back when I used to do hallucinogens my sh*t wouldn't shut up. Just non stop talking, I hated it. Got me scared I was gonna go schitzo, so I quit all drugs. sh*ts aight now.
I still got a voice, but it's way calmer now. Good find, plair. Last edited by Puddingpops; 11-26-2022 at 04:59 PM.. |

But also in your defense the more you say your thoughts out loud the more powerful they are (people dont have to be there tho). They say that in think and grow rich This one of the most powerful rap songs imo. Cause others don't touch on this It's like prodigy talking to his subconscious telling him. "We need to do these things, it's a necessary evil to survive. The ends justify the means, they dont understand because they don't feel our pain. Let me take the wheel and just chill ill guide us through this bump in the road" Last edited by Hellmatic; 11-27-2022 at 02:30 AM.. | |

Wouldn't know any other way. My inner voice is always analyzing, narrating or got the latest catchy songs in my head.
It's mostly completely under my control. I enjoyed reading as a teenager, still do but too many distractions now with electronics, but while reading my mind constructs whatever I'm reading. When I played with my toys I'd have whole scenerios in my head. What do n*ggas without inner voices do? Emptiness in the head? How do ya'll analyze a situation etc if there's no inner voice? To me NOT having that sh*t is weird. Than again maybe that's why most people are 1000 yard stare blank eyed dummies ![]() |

So, how do people without internal monologues do things like read, math, problem solve, or process information?
I couldn't imagine living without an internal monologue. Whether I'm thinking ahead, pre-planning the future to give myself an advantage, having a full-on comedy routine in my head, or just enjoying my own company, that sh*t is lit. |
