The White House on Tuesday announced that it is extending the pause on student loan repayments through June 30, 2023. Driving the news: The latest extension comes as the Biden administration's student loan forgiveness plan remains in legal limbo. What they're saying: "I'm confident that our student debt relief plan is legal. But it’s on hold because Republican officials want to block it," President Biden wrote in a tweet. "That's why @SecCardona is extending the payment pause to no later than June 30, 2023, giving the Supreme Court time to hear the case in its current term," per the tweet. Editor's note: This is a developing story. Please check back for updates. ![]() |

This is all planned. They knew their "forgiveness" would never pass.
Now guess what..... Senate will pass a bill to forgive debt and House will either have to pass it or will get blamed for the debt. It's all politics. AND DOES NOTHING FOR THE FUTURE STUDENTS DEBTS. So in 5-10 years....same exact fn issue will come up. |

![]() Uncle Sam got a savings bond collecting interest in the Treasury right now on your name if you've ever had a criminal court case # Uncle Sam will literally take the land from up under your house - regardless if you've paid it off in full, regardless if you've committed a crime, regardless if you built it with your own hands - whenever he feel like repurposing said land, force you off it and call it "eminent domain" | |
