iOS and Android are both UNIX-like operating systems. With Android using the Linux kernel and iOS using the XNU kernel.

All Apple operating systems are based on Darwin (BSD-based due to permissive licensing) -- not Linux.

I use ArchLinux on the desktop and AOSP on my phone (no Google)

I still got my s21 ultra on a payment plan until next August....The fu*ked up thing is that Samsung completely abandoned the s21 line ..You can't even trade it in for a s22 .. But it has served me well for a year now ill probably stick with it until the s25 or something...not paying full price for a phone again ...I'll have to get some sort of sweet deal on it

Nah, got the whole story what happened before I got the phone. Long story short, dude found out his girl is a hoe and not an executive/PR person for a record label in Texas like she said she was. He sold me this phone but she still got the iPhone 14 he claimed he was gonna get back and put it up for sale as well (which i doubt since the side dude she's fu*king still got it). Best of luck to him but I got a legit steal when he sold me this phone, all paid for

We run Ubuntu LTS on servers at work, but for daily driver a rolling release is where it's at -- for updates there's no waiting months or adding alternative ppas.

Well, I’m still happy with my iPhone 12 and Note 10+. They both get the job done on whatever ecosystem and I have yet to have any issues from either.
