I've heard not-so-good things about this guy, even from some of our own people.

Idk @ vouches for him but I'd be very careful taking advice from duke.

edit: I see he's already been called out on the first page lol.

Didn't watch but it's pretty simple...pay your bills, keep your revolving debt low compared to credit lines, try to have credit pulled least as possible, don't close cards to increase credit history length

Not only that it's not just about score. First, secured and unsecured debt is looked at different and you wsnt to have big credit lines paid on time.

Example...if somebody has a 780 score but only has $500 credit cards and person B has a 680 score but has multiple 10k loans paid on time I'm lending to person B the higher amount.

Example on secured/unsecured...of somebody has car loans for say 50k and unsecured loans up to 20k. That's where lender will stay within range for the most part. Although you have 50k that's on secured so would need security for that amount...on unsecured they'll lend on what you showed you could pay (or a little over). So, if you can continue getting bigger loans and paying everything on time youre golden. If you can have 100k unsecured loans showing paid on time you won't have issues getting unsecured loans up to 100k.

Credit is huge if you want to do big things in life. Once you can show 1 million dollar real estate done well. You're not far from getting 5-10mil lent. Once you do that then you continue to the same process and get to a point you can get 100 million deals

This.

I try to keep my utilization around 5%, but definitely below 10%. Maintaining good credit is not hard.

I can't stand reading a bunch of people talk about how easy it is to handle credit.

They say sh*t like "It's easy people, pay your bills off every month"

If the sh*t was so easy, the credit card companies wouldn't be worth BILLIONS. In fact, if it was so easy, they wouldn't be in business, because everyone would be "easily" paying sh*t off every month.

Truth is, less than 25% of cardholders pay they balances off every month. n*ggas be having debt and credit card balances, but telling everyone else how "easy" it is to handle credit.

These credit card companies hire Psychologists and Mathematicians to work the probability of a cardholder getting stuck with debt.

Now corporate credit, or credit in a LLC is a different topic, and has some leverage and benefit there. But personal credit cards or debt, is just setting yourself up for failure.

The odds are NOT in your favor that you'll handle a personal credit card responsibly.

American Express is worth $101.5 BILLION due to everyone doing this "easy" pay off bills every month thing.

I been there, done that. Had credit cards and had debt. fu*k all dat!....

Cash flow is king. I been debt free since 2015, and it changed my life. Ever since then the focus has been to increase the cash flow, which has worked waaaay better than messing with credit cards (personal credit cards at least).

And I cant stand seeing people who cant handle finances and say it's not. It is very easy....you just need discipline...you live withhin your means....period. There is no option B

Credit cards aren't free money. You shouldn't be using unless you can pay it off at the end of the month, in a reasonable time or at the very least be able to make your credit card payment. Its 1st grade mathnso it is "very" easy...if you know your bring "x" home after taxes you need to make sure you spend less than "X" amount every month. If you're not you're not living within your means...you went a got a car payment that's over what you can afford because you want to stunt...youre spending more on food than what is your means...youre going out and doing shjt and spending like somebody who brings in an extra $1k then you do.

So yea, it's very easy u less you get hit with an unexpected event like a hospitalization or something

And your last statement you wont be liquid enough to do big things. Use other people's money to make money...

Dope run thru. Many of the youth needs this out the gate. I wish I took a course when I was young. Had to learn on my own.
