The price is gonna make or break this. IP's won't develop games for it if they feel not enough people will buy it and consumers won't be too happy that a peripheral costs more than the console. Hopefully this is just a placeholder and the price is much lower.

I wouldn't be surprised at $600,the Playstation 4 VR was $399 at launch and that didn't include the VR controllers and I think those were 100 bucks.

True. With the technology and everything included $600 does sound right. I just hope consumers are willing to stomach that cost.

Yea that I think is going to be the question, looked it up, ps4 VR sold like 5 million headsets and Oculus 2 (which came out much more recently) sold 15mil. My issue with the quest is the graphics and the PSVR the cord, but the graphics might make it worth it.

This is probably the only way to swallow that pill. I think that'd be fair to ask at least..

V.R is for people with disposable income. I don't see anything wrong here.

Like the minimum wage workers that are out here buying PS5? If you can afford a PS5 then you can afford VR…

How about $700?

Cause that's what it'll be if it's 600 pounds in the UK

Basically renting it for the price of the product replacement plan huh? Smart. Maybe I'll try something like that.

The US dollar is worth more than pound now.

The price would go down. 1 Pound sterling equals
1.11 United States Dollar

Take a second and do that math in your head again, friend. That means if you have $1 USD you would have less than 1 pound. The dollar would be worth more if the equation was flipped and you received more pounds per dollar.

That is also a direct conversion of 600 pounds = $669 USD.

You right. I just remember reading recently the dollar outpaced the pound for the first time in a while.

My reply didn't support that but proved yours. I'd post the link but overall at any other time the pound is worth more than the dollar

Yeah.. When I did this I was thinking PSVR1 games would be backwards compatible with the PSVR2..

Yeah the pound has been sinking like crazy this year. The conversion rate is usually $1.30-$1.40.

Very well could fall below $1 at this rate.
