Why is the BOND YIELD CURVE important?
And
What has an inverted Yield Curve proven for the last century?
Time to keep a close eye on the Feds, Why have they given no guidance?

Here’s some actual data. I dont expect many to appreciate it since its not doom and gloom psycho-babble. However , for the real ones here’s some telling info:

Great post op. History is wisdom. Yet people need to chill. The money printer will remain on.

I’m pretty new to investing and trading but does this mean keep getting puts on the spy? I printed last week and thought I’d be able to ride it down into the 360’s this coming week

@ does the lower yield mean the economy will get worse. I have no intelligence or wisdom about this field. Can you educate me?

Parents have to start teaching black kids about business, investing & trading instead of dances, lyrics, leaving them in front of a tv/computer/gaming system to raise them.

I have to FORCE my brain to be interested in things like this when it seems like i should've known about this in my teens.

The bond market can help predict the direction of the economy and can be useful in crafting your investment strategy.

A normal yield curve shows bond yields increasing steadily with the length of time until they mature but flattening a little for the longest terms.
A steep yield curve doesn't flatten out at the end. This suggests a growing economy and, possibly, higher inflation to come.
A flat yield curve A flat yield curve shows little difference in yields from the shortest-term bonds to the longest-term. This indicates uncertainty.
The rare inverted yield curve signals trouble ahead. Short-term bonds pay better than longer-term bonds.

Puts are options contracts with expirations and Theta.
The daily weekly, daily, and hourly price action has rotations up and down.
You could sell puts and opposed to buying puts but thats something i dont strategize. Even if I did, its another thing to execute.
With this info, it should allow you to plan ahead.
IF you see the market going up, you have to ask
"why?"
is it news?
what happens when I zoom out?
Am i within a channel?

FOMC tomorrow. Buckle up

look and fail at 3700. JPOW speaks later today.
normally it rallies for a short time.
Ask yourself if you want to
Exit before this happens and take profit
or
Hold and add positions.
Trade at your own risk

in the pic below, buyers didnt even try to bring up price towards todays midpoint. Might be saving it. Id look back at the previous 2 weeks to see what volume was , prior to 11:30

However the Dollar is high, europe closes in 7min of this post. We'll see the real direction of the US market. Gotta clear out intl noise.

Trade at your own risk

@
How'd you do?
you reload at 3700 or hold?
wouldve been good to take profit @ 1240 unless you held for 2hrs (f*ghting theta) and reloaded at 3700.
Anyone that took profit at #1 (in pic) , to me wouldve been the best time vs
Loading up at 3700 twice ... just depends on your position size and risk management. holding thru drawdown in options is harder

After Jpow spoke, them bots came out during power hour. Took out the shorts. Hopefully those that did have shorts ... took profit and re-entered for cheap puts for next week. Thats just my bias.
We are near Yearly lows. Expect people with savings accounts to load up on cheap stocks from the likes of Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, etc.
