Addams family started in the 30s as a comic then was a TV show in the 60s. Remakes always been apart of Hollywood. Just more money and platforms to make more content, that's why it seems like there are so many these days.

There's just as much new and original content as there are remakes and sequels.

Love the direction they took in this. It's dope to be.

Kind of making it like a Harry Potter but in the Addams family world.

Addams Family was never about any one character during any generation of it. This is just following the now tired trope of latching onto the “strong” female character and gassing it.

She’s expelled from school because she had piranhas eat a guy’s balls off and said he shouldn’t procreate. No way on earth a male character gets away with mutilating a women and isn’t cancelled into obliviion. It’s more of the same subversive man-hating patriarchy sh*t they’re cramming into all of the current movies. End rant.

im pretty sure the two have nothing do with each other but in any event netflix is out of the prestige tv game. they realize those shows dont do numbers, they care about reality tv and sh*t like that now

Fam u act like I said something that was foreign to the average movie watcher, most movies been bunk for years for the main reason they keep trying to remake classics

I have no problem wit it until they start to remake my beloved 80's classics

Long as they leave the goonies, lost boys, breakfast club, weird science, big trouble little china, the warriors and a few others ALONE we should be gucci

i was never really into the addams family to begin with. but jenna ortega k*lled this role. somehow they built an interesting universe out of wednesday addams of all people. surprising as hell.

First episode was dope. The casting is perfect just like real fans said it would be

I just finished the season and damn, it was really good. It exceeded my expectations.

Just watched the first Ep- sooo good!

On the 5th Episode. Really like it so far. I hate there are only 8 eps, but it's Netflix so ya know.
