Gucci Mane is the father of "Drill Music"

These young folks got that "Drill sh*t" from Gucci Mane who fathered it. Nothing but trap music but dissing dead homies. Waka Flocka & Boosie, & Even Juicy J on "Rubband Business" 1 & 2 , Bankroll Fresh was who Gucci Mane was grooming. Young Thug is the one who pushed it mixed with 21 Savage took Bankroll Place when he got k*lled. Lets not forget about Future on songs like "sh*t & Gangland" .

Then Chicago adopted the sound

Can't forget Trouble "Bussin" came out 10 years ago

We gotta throw juicy J & Boosie in here too

1. Half the songs you posted aren't drill
2. Drill was out before truth came out, which came out around 2012. In fact, finally rich had already droppeed if i recall
3. drill is more influenced by waka than gucci
4. BG and Boosie are more drill oriented than gucci

You’re wrong again. Waka brought us Waka. Gucci didn’t even want Waka to rap and wouldn’t let him record with him. Waka started his own music career while Gucci was locked up and Gucci got out and got on the bandwagon and tried to take credit. Gucci has absolutely nothing to do with drill. Waka and Lex created it.

Ima say it was both waka and guwop

1017 bricksquad had an era where they had their own sound and gucci was getting featured on main artists songs at his peak

Waka flocka was big as hell with ignorant as fu*k music that got you hyped as hell

Everybody dissed ops or dead ops before like how boosie dissed nussie but it wasnt known to the whole world like Gucci was dissing jeezy and pookie.

Bruh woke up and chose violence when he thought about putting go dig ya partna up bet he cant say sh*t in a song. That opened up the hell gates for these little n*ggas to get on a track and try to say the most disrespectful sh*t they can think of

If you watched all them drill n*ggas interviews they either say gucci or flocka influenced them. Thats why it was so easy for keef to sign with gucci even when jeezy, birdman and gotti was tryna sign him too

Bra that's not correct. Kebo Gotti is my cousin and he was buzzing wit hit squad in clay co and Clayton county before brick squad started.

Man you gotta know the scene Waka came from cuz you can hear his influence all over drill but the way Waka rapped was a subgenre of ATL gangs dissing each other.

This was back when Taliban, SSM, 220 Blakk Mob, etc were all on YouTube on MySpace going hard at each other.

You a mf lie lmao. You stay making up sh*t to try and sound cool on the internet. I’ve exposed you before. Nobody took Waka seriously until O’ Let’s Do It dropped. Not his mama, not Gucci or anybody else. And Keebo is definitely not your cousin.

Be that as it may. Everything he's said is factually correct with regards to Waka buzz. He created his own lane. I'm pretty sure Salute Me or Shoot Me doesn't have any Gucci features aside from like the intro or something like that. Waka was finna be just a shooter for Gucci

Gucci shouted Waka before he started rapping. I produced one of the songs he did it on so I know for a fact that Waka didn't make his own name. Waka still started drill though.

He shouted Waka out as an a*sociate not as an artist. Waka is Deb’s son and was always around but both Deb and Gucci tried to keep him away from the industry. It’s not hard to verify.

That's not Chicago slang. This been proven many of times on here in the past 8 years. I'll give you opp even though it's just "opposition" but the rest of that sh*t been discussed on here.
