It's crazy to have had a front row seat over the past 20+ years to watch the media, educators and society in general phase out the word abstinence and phase in the bombardment of s*xual content to minors\teenagers, which has resulted in young people thinking they only have three options when it comes to s*x: contraception, abortion, oral s*x

And I'm not implying that there are not any families\institutions on the planet that promote abstinence. It's just that the word abstinence was easily found in commercials, in dialog on tv shows, in schools, at the dinner table in parallel with s*x being promoted in media\society over the past two+ decades. There was balance. Nowadays, parents and educators don't even talk about abstinence - as soon as their children turn 13-14 they jump straight to contraception.
