Im not sure, but i think the public transportation in NY is different, wit the subway and all. What you need a car for? when almost everything is few mins away wit the train?

Yeah that parking in nyc be crazy… remember it took like an hour to find a spot when I was staying with my boy for a short period. And then one night got towed… had to catch that train then… lol

Why when I can hop on the q train

Between traffic, road rage, finding parking, vandalism you better without one.

One of my best friends is from NY. He damn near 30 and wouldn't know what to do if you put him in the drivers seat of a car. Bruh might as well be in a spaceship

He stay asking people to teach him how to drive so he can finally take the test. Nobody trying to take that risk with they whip

When you see how ridiculous the parking regulations are and there is barely any parking, You will know. Then the high a*s insurance and gas prices
Also you guarantee your vehicle will get damaged by someone hitting it or from them fu*ked up roads. Cost of living is already too high

Public transportation takes you anywhere you need to go in the city

I don't think people are comprehending your statement but I agree. Certain cities you need a car no matter how big the city is. NYC is different. DC is just like NYC as far as not necessarily needing a car. LA, you need a car. Most major metropolitan areas you need your own transportation because public transportation and the ability to shop isn't as efficient.

Had to double post... If dude is genuinely asking y'all to teach him and all of y'all are denying him then laughing behind his back like you doing then y'all are some sh*tty friends.

NYC has a real public transit system, unlike most of the country.....which is straight up embarrassing compared to other countries

No lies detected. Have a 43 year old sibling and they still don’t have a license. Life long new Yorker.

If you in Manhattan, you basically only got a whip if you ballin and got a spot in a garage. If you live in the outer Burroughs it’s a lot more likely u got a whip cuz u can park it. But the closer you live to manhattan, you much less need a car. My grandpop worked nyc transit his whole life and knew the entire public transport grid he could literally get you to within 2 blocks or so of any address in the 5 thru use of trains and buses. All off the top/first verse

OP is confusing not having a license with not knowing how to drive. People in the hood drive all the time without license. And then once u a rapper you usually have someone driving you around.

Rick ross just got his license last year.

Had my license for 10 years and just renewed it. Never used it once. Use public, uber, lyft or walk. When my wife was pregnant we had a driver take her around.
