When you're on defense I think you remember when players hit a tough shot over you more than anything. Like if you do everything right, force them to go left when they are strongest to the right, force them to use their off-hand... and they still score on you? Oof

I say that because it always stands out to me that you never hear about "unimpressive" scorers that put up numbers in conversations like these. I've never heard someone say Duncan was the hardest to guard even though Timmy D gave everybody buckets.

These lists are really about who hits the toughest jumpers that got in a defender's head. Otherwise these lists would feature more guys that are unstoppable driving the ball and getting layups or post guys that score right next to the basket very effectively but you never do...

So you literally made up some sh*t because he didn't put Bron at the top... You Bron stans are weirdo. He said the top 5 hardest he had to defend, not who hit the toughest shots over him.

Ginobili had the full package as a playmaker, man. He was highly skilled at everything offensively; he was tough as nails.

Like in a parallel universe, where he's not drafted by SA and is not OK with just being a 6th man, he could have easily been a 25+ ppg scorer. Easily.

That's why you got to put guys like him in a separate category when comparing him to other all-time greats. He's one of those real "team players" who care about winning first and foremost, and all that other stuff comes much later.

Yea, so he wouldn't come off as a hater. It's part of playing it cool. Plus him and Tmac do sports talk together sometimes.
