Can one of the BX law people make this make sense.

What's the reason they stop these beatings? Is it because the court doesn't want the liability in case the suspect gets injured while in police custody?

Yes they are responsible for him, he’s in their custody if they don’t protect him he can sue.
Plus they can’t let him be k*lled in front on them, who knows how far that father would go.

Now I disagree with the judge sentencing him, could have let him get a temporary insanity plea.

I've thought about it before and my go to was a sharpened pencil. Whatever happens after that, happens after that, but THAT'S definitely going to happen.
