I was telling people in one of those YSL Rico threads how sweet GA justice system is. She only has to do a year (more than likely less) but the DA will get credit for a 10 year conviction because of the probation.

One year

She got charged with involuntary manslaughter not 1st or 2nd degree murder.

Not shocked she got one year.

Why would you be by large bodies of water and on boats without a life jacket if you can't swim?

everyone should learn how to swim at least doggy paddle, its fairly easy. unfortunate tho pranks aint sh*t

And what if you slipped and fell into the water? What if you had a seizure? If you can't swim you should wear a life jacket around water and that's that. Doesn't change her culpability but he should've known better

I fish and no one goes out with me without wearing a life jacket even if they can swim, deep water is nothing to play with

Not worth more than a year, it was a dumb mistake that will haunt her forever …. She was the most negligent, but she wasn’t the only one moving irresponsibly

I do not disagree with you at all

Still, best practices is wear a life jacket even if you know how to swim but definitely if you don't know how to swim.

Just putting it out there for folks who think water is merciful when it's not.

They teach you in “lifeguarding school” that if you have to approach someone it’s best to do it from behind so you can incapacitate them and lessen the chance of them drowning you both OR punch them in the face to knock them out if they won’t calm down and carry them back.

If someone is drowning NEVER JUMP IN


Find a pole or some sh*t or toss a flotation device

Even Baywatch lifeguards used flotation devices

Everytime you get on a boat you should have a life jacket on?

Ferries, cruise boats, party boats etc. You never see people wearing life jackets on those, and these folks were partying on a boat that was tied up.

This happened where I'm from...I grew up with one of the dudes, that passed, baby mama. sh*t was sad to watch

9 years probation.

She definitely going back. She don’t look like the type who gon be able to stay on point for 9 straight years.

Definitely gonna do more than that one year in the long run

There's a video I saw on YouTube where a man tries to save his drowning friend, but with the combination of the undercurrent and the guy panicking, it was a wrap and both men ended up drowning. You can tell just how hard it is to save a drowning person, even lifeguards have a difficult time doing that sh*t

fu*k this bi*ch. If I'm the family, I'm going to see her upon release. RIP to them brothers
