As @JakeLFischer reported, the Hawks have discussed a trade involving John Collins and Spurs guard Dejounte Murray but Iâ€™m told itâ€™s not close to happening yet.

Gives them another ball handler in the half court , and someone who can clamp defensively . Need to surround Trae with as much defensive talent as you possibly can.

This trade will make life easier for Trae on both sides. Atlanta has the a*sets to get a deal done.

Who are they replacing Collins with? Are they sending Bogey to the bench? DJ isn't a great shooter so the spacing will suffer

Unless spurs believe in primo or a pg in this draft

Kirshner works for the Athletic, so this has sum legs. It's just they are not close and if it does happen it'll be in July prolly

That wasn't Spurs rumors. Uncle Dennis was very vocal about Kawhi not staying a Spur after Parker's comments and the team not doing anything to discipline Parker about it. Those were facts he was gone as stated by his camp but no one knew where and when he was being traded until it happened.

The Spurs don't do business like that
