The movie came out at a different time.... you are not gonna get that same feeling that most did at that time... classic kids movie. And now considered legendary... and for the record most of the kids in that film went on to do bigger things.... and still around doing great work... including Josh Brolin... you sound like a miserable bi*ch who got no love as a kid... foh. I ain't gonna lie... A lot of sh*t is time period classics. I never saw it before and I thought it was trash too lol.

Matter a fact I just saw Top Gun for the first time and holy sh*t that movie is a piece of sh*t. Dudes homie dies, doesn't give the dog tags to his family just throws it in the ocean like fu*k it.

If you weren't born in that era then you can't relate and it don't hit the same, that's like me going back calling a film trash from the 1930s or 1940s

When Goonies came out I was like 5 going on 6 years old, so for someone like me I could relate to those kids going on adventures and sh*t like that. Because that's what I was doing as kid when I was outdoors.

I also never got the love for that movie.
