How do you plan on getting anything either published or produced if you're scared? If you haven't submitted anything for feedback, how do you know you're good enough to go to the next level?

A good writer can steal one line of dialogue from your writing and turn it into a completely different film/book. Things will always be stolen, you need to get over that.

Don't copyright your work from anywhere other than registering it with the Library of Congress and if youre in the WGA through them as well. Don't submit anywhere without either researching your readers/judges or without an agent.

I'm on my 4th stolen IP court case right now.... this is what worked best... If your sh*t gets stolen, QUIETLY contact an entertainment lawyer outside of LA or NYC send them all documents and wait for the movies release. If released to streaming you're entitled to a % of the purchasing price AND a % of AD revenue (if applicable). If theaters, you get a % of box office that could potentially exceed that of the original screen writer.

I'm not a novelist, so I can't offer any advice on that aspect of it.
