I'm American but I live overseas now so I can completely understand why people who don't have guns as part of their culture would look at the US weird.

That said If I was living back in the US full time I'd have an arsenal I'm just being honest. The media is a fear factory pumping out endless streams of fear into the minds of the people, Folks are stressed out to high heaven, broke/struggling. The government doesn't do anything to help its people and the health care system is a nightmare. So many people walking around with untreated mental health issues. Oh and most of these folks are armed. Thats a recipe for disaster in any language. So I completely understand people who say that they're never giving up their guns.
